The Prime Minister as an Educational Leader

We congratulated Mr.Abhisit Vejjajiva on passing vote from 235 representatives
to select him as the 27th Prime Minister of Thailand on Monday morning of December
15, 2008. I had really supported him since the previous time that he had to encounter
with the older premier, Mr.Samak Sunthorawet. But it was an unfortunate dream when he lost the vote.

May be someone does not like him due to coming from Democrat Party or because of
his young age. I nevertheless think he is appropriate to the new generations who desire to see the change in Thai politics. Once I used to share idea with him through his website about the general problems of our country. He agreed with us that we need to solve our educational problem at first. Thus, I reminded him if he could be the Prime Minister, he must concentrate in education issue. First of all, the Ministry of Education has to be the “A” grade or five stars level. Besides, its minister should not be frequently exchanged such the former government.

We are looking forward to seeing the best practices from Abhisit’s cabinet. And we hope it will be a creative change regarding education management. This is because our premier is specially interested in this field as well.

My First English Teacher

After rewarding the best English teacher for a few days, I was so excited that I could meet "KhrooAcharawan or KhrooJ." who I have been looking forward to seeing her for a long time.
We have still not seen each other since she was far apart in 1982. About 26 years ago I used to study English with her in Prathom 5 at Ban Nateoy School. As we know, the national curriculum of the previous era, this subject was begun to learn at this class. So she was my first teacher of this field.

It was a coincidence on last saturday, while I was pursuing my studies at Prince of Songkla University, she was lecturing at Southern View Hotel, Pattani. As the professor of Suan Dusit Rajabhat University, she came here to tutor kindergarten teachers of the southernmost provinces.

She is so kind-hearted to me and I will never forget her kindness.
I really think of her very much.

Congratulation!

For a short time that I had ever learnt with him and for a few minute that we have met each other in this special day, however I have tried to do such his best practice for a long time. I do not forget him and Rajabhat Institute Yala the place where I gained more kwowledges in English. And lastly, as the Teacher Award in English Teaching , I feel so happy when I could stand beside my favorite teacher as well. His kindness is always deepened in my heart.
